Techno Brain CEO Manoj Shanker explains the technicalities of AFIS (Automated Fingerprint Identification System) to His Excellency President Jakaya Kikwete on his visit to Tanzania Police CID Forensic Bureau.
AFIS has been Implemented by Techno Brain and was officially Inaugrated by the former Tanzanian President Benjamin Mkapa in April 2005.

AFIS uses state-of-art image processing, pattern recognition, neural networks and artificial intelligence techniques and unique concepts in fingerprint matching
